Vetted contractor network

One contractor selected for fit

No contractor list to sort

Network access tied to standards

Why homeowners use GetHandled

One click should not turn your project into a contractor-search project.

Directories can leave you sorting callbacks, comparing profiles and guessing who fits. GetHandled vets the network and selects one independent contractor for your project.

What the system changes

The pain point has a safeguard.

Callback flood

Your project is not sent to a list.

GetHandled makes one first contractor introduction instead of giving you several contractors to sort through.

Trust burden

Vetting happens before selection.

We check business identity, applicable licensing and insurance, project fit, experience, reputation and operating standards.

Selection burden

We select for project fit.

Service area, relevant experience, availability and the project’s needs inform the contractor selection.

Performance incentive

Network access has consequences.

Continued access to GetHandled homeowners depends on service standards. Poor performance can lead to removal.

Only if you choose to continue

The $150 reservation comes after the free call, not before.

If the project fits and you elect to advance, GetHandled collects the non-refundable project reservation by phone under written terms. When the project proceeds to a signed contractor agreement, the $150 is applied toward that contract.

Common questions

Does GetHandled install the countertops?

No. GetHandled vets its network, selects one independent contractor for project fit and makes the introduction. The independent contractor assesses the project and provides its estimate, contract, work, payments and warranty.

What does GetHandled verify?

Before selecting a contractor, we verify business identity, applicable licensing and insurance, service and geographic fit, relevant project experience, reputation, communication and operating standards.

Why only one contractor introduction?

GetHandled is built to remove the contractor-sorting burden. We select one contractor from the vetted network for project fit rather than broadcasting your information to a list.

Why isn’t there an installed price in the ad?

Measurements, material, edge, sink and cutouts, removal, access and site conditions affect the actual scope. The independent contractor prepares its estimate after reviewing the project.
